During my recent stay at Hotel-Gasthof Zur Muehle in Kaprun, I found the experience to be a fascinating blend of value and traditional charm, particularly given its proximity to the Kitzsteinhorn Glacier. The hotel features well-furnished rooms, with a spacious sitting area and a flat-screen TV, ensuring a comfortable stay, even if some rooms exhibit traces of wear. The dining experience, while basic, provided a notable selection of four main courses for dinner, alongside a generous buffet breakfast that offered a plethora of choices. The food's consistency could be improved. The warm, family-oriented service was commendable, creating an inviting atmosphere for relaxation after a day on the slopes. While the hotel's amenities, including an accessible ski locker and heated boot room, contribute to its overall value, the limited evening entertainment may not appeal to everyone. Nonetheless, the serene setting is undoubtedly calming for travellers seeking a restful retreat.
